While her relationship with money initially got off to a rocky start, May had to restructure her past beliefs to achieve success in her business now. Adopting the mindset that money is scarce will only negatively affect your performance as an entrepreneur. According to May, if you adopt that mindset, you will become desperate to close every deal, more inclined to offer discounts, and too afraid to invest back into your business. To overcome your scarcity mindset about money, you must first understand your relationship with money and then work to reframe your mindset. May explains that money loves speed and time, and when you believe in yourself and invest in your business, you can get back time, speed up your growth, and allow the money to flow.
