Can I Be an Event Planner and Event Designer?
Thursday Mar 31, 2022
Thursday Mar 31, 2022
When it comes to running your business, many event planners wonder whether or not they can both plan and design events. In today’s episode, host May Yeo Silvers answers the question: is it possible to do both event planning and designing and still be successful in your business?
According to May, when you first start your business it is common to wear the hat of both a designer and a planner. However, the busier you get, the easier it will be to focus on what you are best at so it is important to understand which role you prefer. While May does occasionally design events, most of the time she prefers to partner with a designer so she can do what she’s best at… planning!
Tune into this week’s episode of The Unstoppable Eventrepreneur™ for a conversation about the differences between the roles of event planners and designers. Learn more about the importance of figuring out where your passion is so that you can operate a business that focuses on your strengths.
